TaxisVerts and the Brussels-Capital Region relaunch Collecto

On May 15, Brussels residents will once again be able to take advantage of the Collecto night collective taxi service.

Suspended at the time of COVID, this economical, safe, sustainable and user-friendly service is being given a new application to serve its customers.

Collecto is operated by TaxisVerts.

"By relaunching the Collecto service in the Brussels-Capital Region, TaxisVerts is fully assuming its societal role: to enable every inhabitant of Brussels to travel at night, easily and safely, at an extremely advantageous rate. Such a mission of general interest, aimed at a wide public, is part of the DNA of TaxisVerts," says Jonathan Guzy, CEO of TaxisVerts.

What is Collecto?

Collecto is a shared taxi service available every day, including Sundays, between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. throughout the Brussels-Capital Region. Via 200 pick-up points at strategic STIB stops, passengers are taken to the address of their choice for a fixed price of just €6.

What does the new application bring?

Thanks to its cutting-edge technology and precise geolocation, customers can find the boarding point nearest to their location and order their Collecto. Payment can be made directly via the application.

Booking by telephone also remains available (02 800 36 36).

Why is Collecto economical and sustainable?

An individual taxi trip in the Brussels-Capital Region costs a minimum of €8, with the final rate depending on the distance covered. With Collecto, the price is a flat rate with no surprises: €6 per passenger.

Collecto is also good for the planet: sharing a taxi allows everyone to reduce their carbon footprint.

Why is Collecto safe and convivial?

Travelling with several people in the evening or at night with Collecto increases safety and conviviality, with the guarantee of a safe return to your destination by entrusting the journeys to professionals.
