TaxisVerts and the Brussels-Capital Region relaunch Collecto
On May 15, Brussels residents will once again be able to take advantage of the Collecto night collective cab service.
Suspended at the time of Covid, this service, which is at the same time economical, safe, sustainable and user-friendly, is equipped with a new application at the service of its customers. Collecto is operated by TaxisVerts.
By relaunching, alongside the Brussels-Capital Region, the Collecto service, TaxisVerts is fully assuming its societal role: allowing each Brussels resident to travel at night, easily and safely, at an extremely advantageous rate. Such a mission of general interest, oriented towards a large public, is part of the DNA of TaxisVerts" comments Jonathan Guzy, CEO of TaxisVerts.
What is Collecto?
Collecto is a shared cab service available every day, including Sundays, between 23:00 and 06:00 in the morning throughout the territory of the Brussels-Capital Region. Via 200 boarding points at strategic STIB stops, passengers are taken to the address of their choice for a fixed price of only €6.
What does the new application bring?
Thanks to its advanced technology and precise geolocation, the customer can locate the boarding point closest to their position and order their Collecto. Payment can be made directly via the application. Telephone reservations also remain available (02 800 36 36 36).
Why is Collecto economical and sustainable?
An individual cab ride in the Brussels-Capital Region costs at least €8 with a final price that depends on the distance travelled. With Collecto, the price is fixed and unsurprisingly: €6 per passenger. Collecto is also good for the planet: sharing a cab allows everyone to reduce their carbon footprint.
